Yet again,
she is standing here,
face to face with it.
Feeling the pain
she bends over looking
down into the water.
She’s crying,
because she’s about to
do that thing again.
And then the rain,
of the things she hates
more that everything.
It’s falling out,
this is all that matters now:
pouring the calories away
It’s done,
she looks in the mirror, seeing
the huge pride in her eyes.
Still crying,
she opens the door and
drinks a glass of water.
